The Jones Act protects employees (seamen and some longshore workers) who are injured in the course and scope of their employment aboard vessels on navigable waters.  This is a complicated and specialized area of the law that dates back centuries.  Please call Merman & Dunk to determine if you are eligible to collect under this law.
